Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina
The Maryland Justice 4All Annual Conference, hosted by the Maryland Office of the Public Defender (OPD), returns this spring for three days of learning, collaboration, and community.
Designed for the full defense team, the conference features informative and practical programming with a focus on AI and its impact on criminal defense. Programming is designed for:
Attorneys
Social workers
Paralegals
Core staff
Each year, the conference creates space to step back from the pace of daily practice, sharpen skills, and strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration in service of clients across Maryland.

Early Bird Registration Now Open
Free for OPD staff, early bird pricing is currently available for private practitioners, panel attorneys or public defenders outside of Maryland. We encourage participants to register early and join colleagues from across the state in Cambridge for what promises to be an energizing and substantive gathering.
APDM’s Role
The Association for the Public Defender of Maryland (APDM) is proud to support the conference through sponsorship coordination and fundraising efforts that help make the event possible.
Conference-related funds raised by APDM support:
The Career Development Fund, which sends OPD employees to specialized training and professional development programs
Conference support and related expenses
By helping steward these resources, APDM works alongside OPD to strengthen professional development opportunities and ensure the long-term vitality of Maryland’s public defense community.
We look forward to coming together at the end of May to learn, connect, and advance justice for all. Register today!
